wp-admin problem resolved!

OK – If you’ve surfed in because you could not get into your control panel because of some error (I forget what it said, but it was a plain white screen with dos-type text at the top left), all you need to do is download the latest wordpress install and replace the entire wp-admin folder in public_html (or your top folder for WP) with the new wp-admin files.
I moved the old wp-admin files to a folder on my hard drive (just in case, cos there were wayyy more files in the new-install, comparatively) and drag/dropped the new files into wp-admin. Then uploaded the entire folder to the mirrored side on the cloud (my site). IT WORKED! HA! Everything is back to normal! yAy! (((lil-danse)))
One of the things that bothered me was on the mirrored side, the top folder was public_html and not 1-level higher, like in my local files. It has GOT to be OK, cos everything works fine! However, a major question I have is what if I need to upload files within /www/! Because THAT is on a parallel folder with public_html, on the cloud and I cannot see the /www/ folder. I can’t remember if I, personally, did it that way or not. This might be a future problem for me. I don’t know. If any of you reading this has HAD that problem before, please tell me about it, cos I do not want to have to troubleshoot something already a problem. Thanks!
Anywhooo… I am sssO glad my wp site is back to normal! HA! (for now)
Happy Thanksgiving!
