OMG! This is addicting! I can’t stop killing! My aim still sucks, but I am getting better at COD:BO! HA!
I loved the game sssO much, I got it for BOTH systems; xBox 360 & the ps3.
It is so unreal that sssO many kids are on that! Some of these voices are extremely young! Yet, they kill me quicker than lightning!
A lot of them like the zombies part, but I’d rather do Team Deathmatch. The arcade part is like my old skool video games! *LOVE* that!

The definition of prestige is after you get past level 50, you start all over again, but your symbol changes to the above images. You lose almost everything! Throughout the duration of your prestige, the symbol of which time you’ve done it does not change like it does BEFORE you “prestige”.
The reason you would do this is for honor and high status or reputation achieved through your success! It is NOT required, but we all look down on those that do not do it!

  • Today, I reset my level 50 with “prestige mode”. Now, I have nothing except “honor” and man! It is difficult to play without my guns, perks, rocket launcher, etc…
    Oh well! – It is honorable, though!

  • (((whew))) Last night, I reset level 50 on my xBox 360. Same difficult scenario! However, this weekend is “double points weekend” extended to Tuesday, May 10th, 2011 at 10:00am. Within about a dozen games, I am already at level 12 in “prestige 1”. Seems the levels go quicker the lower the level.
    They do not announce “dbl pts weekend”. So, you kinda have to look for it. This weekend, however, it is in honor of the new map pack “Escalation” and WoW! I LOVE The new map-pack!
    I do not care too much for “Hotel”, but I am really enjoying Zoo, Convoy & Stockpile.
    I have not tried the new “Survive” Zombie map yet, but I will get to it when all my teenage buddies are on. (they ALL like the zombies. I do not care too much for them)

  • Last weekend, for the ps3, was double points weekend!
    I reset my profile to prestige 2 and by the time the dbl pts was over that Tuesday, I was already past level 30! HA!
    This week, a new buddy, I noticed was at lv.50, prestige 1. So, I wrote him saying he should do the prestige and he did. I hadn’t been on in a couple days and when I went on, I saw him at lv.32 of prestige 2 already. HA! He is really good, too! So, that helped him climb up the ladder.

    Sometimes, before I play Black Ops, I will play Medal of Honor on the ps3 to warm uP. Playing MoH is like swinging 4 baseball bats before the batter goes uP to bat. Then, when it comes time to do my thing, I am BETTER than usual, because MoH is sssO much tougher than COD:BO! Then, when I’m doing maps like Summit, Jungle, or ANY map for that matter, I am an ace!
    Also, I’ve noticed that I am a lot better on the ps3 than the xBox 360! Must be the controller!
    Can’t wait to get the map packs for the ps3! I have a zillion new friends on there! Using a headset will make you friends faster than you can get 4 headshots in a killstreak! HA!

  • Today I downloaded the First Strike map pack to my ps3 and could not figure out how to install it.
    See, I downloaded & paid for it in the playstation store. Then, when I went to see/play it in Black Ops, it wasn’t there and I could not find it to save my system!
    Whahahappen was, the downloads were right below the Call of Duty Black Ops icon in my main navigation on the desktop, if that makes sense. (((duh))) I musta overlooked it DRASTICALLY! I was going nutts!
    I cannot wait for the Escalation map pack for the ps3! I have it on my xBox 360, but the controller kills my left middle finger after hours of playing it! Plus, I am sssO much better at all the CODs on the ps3!

  • On 6-28-11, a 3rd map pack came out for Black Ops on the xBox 360 called:
    Annihilation
    annihilation
    Of course I got it! I love it! Best map pack yet! I especially like the map SILO, but they’re all good!
    Can’t wait for it to come out on the ps3!
    (I’m much better on ps3)
    (because of the controller, I think)
