Copying Other Material

Here are some burning questions I have had for as long as I can remember.

What happens when you build a website and use someone elses material? Like a picture or something. What if you ignored the emails from the prosecutor about it?

Heck… What if you posted up inappropriate material that is against the grain for the younger folks. What happens THEN?

And how come, when I was a kid in the 70’s, we were not allowed to talk to strangers? Does that NOT apply, today?
Okay… Sure! This is all on the Internet and children are not in the physical-presence of a stranger, but isn’t communicating WITH them, the same principle?

Where are the laws? Who polices them if there are any? What if you are in a third-world country where there are NOT any laws? You are still mentally in the presence of breaking these laws, aren’t you?

Please… If you have any ideas, I would appreciate it. I’m sure dcthrasher would appreciate it, too!
